This section lists the general conditions of mapp CodeBox.

Auditing

Only events that occur when using Ladder Diagram programs can be recorded. Events in the Structured Text programs are currently not recorded.

Ladder Diagram program

The following general conditions apply when using Structured Text programs:

•Variables that have a directly derived data type are not permitted to be used in the MpCodeBox configuration.

•The list of available programs ("Programs" on MpCodeBoxCore) that can be executed by mapp CodeBox are identified during startup of the target system. Programs on storage media that are only added at runtime do not appear in the list. These programs can be imported and then used with MpCodeBoxManager.

Structured Text program

The following general conditions apply when using Structured Text programs:

•When using Coroutines, statement CYCLIC is not permitted to be used within the coroutine.

•Within statements CYCLIC and CYCLIC_BL, coroutines are not permitted to be created, started or paused.

•Only one Structured Text program can be executed per mapp CodeBox instance.

•Automation Studio version 4.9 or later is required to use the "Supported libraries" functions of the MpCodeBoxFlexGeneral configuration.
