If the alarms of a component should be shown via a VC4-based HMI application, then function block MpAlarmBasicUI is necessary. It must use the same MpLink as the component whose alarms should be displayed. If MpAlarmBasicUI is active, then a list of alarms is available on the WebXs configuration page for the respective MpAlarmBasicUI. Default alarms and user alarms are grouped together. The MpLink name in the Component column indicates from the which alarm the alarm is coming. The Type column indicates whether the respective alarm is a default alarm or user alarm.
If function block MpAlarmBasicUI is connected to component MpAlarmBasic (same MpLink), then the WebXs configuration page will display a list of alarms from all components.
