After the changes are downloaded, the program can be tested. Monitor mode is enabled.
Starting command "StateComplete"
The function blocks have already been added to the Watch window. The modules are already enabled as defined in the configuration and can be used. All modules are in currently in state "Activating". In order for the modules to reach state "Stopped", command StateComplete must be provided to the individual modules. This ensures that all modules are ready to change to the next state. For additional information about individual states, see here.
The module is now in state "Stopped".
This procedure is repeated for the remaining modules. All modules are now in state "Stopped".
Starting command "Reset"
In order to reach state "Resetting", command "Reset" is executed on the main module. The defined hierarchy allows the command to be forwarded to the lower modules.
The state of the modules now changes from "Stopped" to "Resetting".
As you can see, it is very easy to build a complete software architecture with mapp PackML.
