This section lists the general conditions of mapp Alarm:

Using the alarm system

In a given project, it is permitted to use either mapp Alarm ormapp AlarmX, but not both at the same time. mapp Alarm is intended as an extension of the alarm system in VC4.

mapp AlarmX is a standalone alarm system, independent of an HMI application. mapp AlarmX also offers a broad range of functions that allow the alarm system to be configured and provide advanced functionality at runtime.
